Nurses know how to party, and our 135th Anniversary Gala has sold out!

The Event:  

Rain or shine, the gala is on!  Doors open at 7 p.m.  Come early to enjoy every minute, as the S.C. Aquarium will close promptly at 10 p.m. out of respect for the sleep schedules of the wildlife that call it home.

Dress:

Suggested dress is cocktail attire, and we encourage those of you who love an opportunity to wear a tux or gown to go for it!

Parking Information:

The City of Charleston parking garage located at 24 Calhoun Street will offer a reduced fee of $5 for this special event. Additionally, metered parking is located along Washington and Concord streets.

Check-In:  

Event check-in will occur at the entrance to the S.C. Aquarium on the ground level. Please proceed through the aquarium entrance past the ticket booth to the table in front of the water feature. Check-in lines will be segmented by last name. You will also receive a program orienting you to the aquarium, food stations and bars.

Coat Check:

A complimentary coat check will be available. Though the coat check will be monitored by event staff, we ask that you not leave any valuables in the area. MUSC, the MUSC College of Nursing, and the S.C. Aquarium are not responsible for items stored at coat check.

Food:

Cru Catering has planned a phenomenal menu for the evening. There will be signage at each food station noting dietary information. A vegetarian option will be available at each station.

Awards Ceremony:

If you are participating in this year’s alumni awards ceremony, please arrive at the aquarium by 6:15 p.m. The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m. and will last approximately 30 minutes.
